PV Solar Panels

Panels are usually 1.5 x 1.0 meters in size and are made of a thin layer of semi-conducting material between a sheet of glass and a polymer resin and silicone. While there are several different types available we use Polycrystalline panels as we find they perform better in the Irish climate.

Inverter & Isolation Switches 

As the current produced by PV panels is direct current (DC) an inverter is required to transform the current into alternate current (AC). Isolation switches are then fitted to both sides of the inverter to ensure it can be used safely in the property.

PV Generation Meter & Cabling

The PV generation meter allows you to view a real time display of the amount of electricity the system is generating. If you intend exporting energy to the grid the amount will also show on the display.  Superior cabling is also used in order to maximize efficiency solar power generation.
